Roof dryer vents can change access, pricing, and safety. Ask whether the provider handles roof exits before scheduling. Dryer vents are easy to overlook because most of the system is hidden behind the dryer, inside a wall, through an attic area, or above the roof line.
Dust, pet hair, frequent laundry, long vent paths, roof exits, and blocked exterior caps can all affect airflow. Watch for long dry times, heat, lint around the hose, weak exterior airflow, or a burning smell.
Ask whether the provider cleans from the dryer side, exterior side, or both, whether roof exits are handled, whether airflow is checked before and after, and whether repairs are quoted separately.
